There isn't a lot of room in my lodging room to properly display this. The pattern is called "Fringe Blossoms", a free pattern by Hoffman Fabrics. Another to add to the to be quilted list when I get back.
One of these days, I'll figure out this blog thing and make better use of it. I finally finished the top to last year's mystery, Celtic Solstice. I hope to get it quilted on Veteran's Day, once I get back to Ohio.
I was able to get all of my Week One's cut out and all of my Week Two's cut out. I sewed four of the Week Two's to see how they went together. They went together pretty easy. I just had to pay attention a little bit more to make sure I was sewing everything on the right way. Hopefully, I can get a bunch done tomorrow before our Christmas party. If not, I'll be sewing Sunday after church. Of course, there is another storm coming in on Sunday with more snow and ice :-)
As you can see, I didn't get very far. I have thirteen of the orange units and fourteen of the neutral units completed. So, that means I only have 127 orange units to go and 226 neutral units to go. What have I got myself into???? Let the fun begin. Look at Bonnie's blog to see what everyone else has completed for part one
Well, I am still working on my Bonnie Hunter Easy Street Mystery Quilt. I finished all 9 of the "B" blocks, have 1 of the "A" blocks completed, have the 4 small triangles done and have 8 of the 12 large triangles done. I'm doing a lot of sewing and ripping, because I just can't get those seams to marry up sometimes without a gap showing or I end up with a overlap. So, maybe next week I'll get everything done. Here is just a peek at what it will look like. Here is the link to see what everyone else has already finished. I guess I'm the slow poke in this one. http://quiltville.blogspot.com/2013/01/mystery-monday-link-up-jan-7th.htmlKaren's Creationshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05106293868606823243noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7990350968168536921.post-32280123232612280662012-12-27T20:17:00.002-08:002012-12-27T20:25:42.875-08:00Easy Street Part Five

Well, I managed to finish making all of the 64 flying geese and sew some of them together with the previous flying geese. I still have a few more to put together and the green fabric to cut, but it isn't happening tonight. Nothing like getting getting down to the wire. I'm glad for a long weekend to get caught up again. I even managed to sew 20 of the Flying Geese units last night. I wasn't feeling good, so I quit and went to bed. I'd like to finish these today as I am on the road for 4 days. I've decided to bring my sewing machine and work in the hotel rooms at night, so that maybe I can get caught up on some of my other projects again.Karen's Creationshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05106293868606823243noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7990350968168536921.post-39575242538188624652012-11-29T20:11:00.000-08:002012-11-29T20:29:06.295-08:00Easy Street Mystery Quilt, Part One
